Planning a trip abroad? Whether you’re heading off on holiday, visiting family, or travelling for work, making sure you’re properly protected is one of the most important parts of your travel preparation.
At Willesden Medical Centre, we offer travel health advice and a range of travel vaccinations for patients registered with us.
What we offer:
• Travel health risk assessments based on your destination, itinerary and medical history
• Vaccinations including Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and other common travel vaccines available on the NHS
• Advice on malaria prevention, food and water safety, and other destination-specific guidance
• Some travel vaccines (such as Yellow Fever) may need to be arranged through a specialist travel clinic — we can advise you on this
Book early
Some vaccines need to be given several weeks before you travel, and some require more than one dose. We recommend booking a travel health appointment at least 4–6 weeks before your departure date — longer if possible for longer trips or multiple destinations.
How to book
If you’re registered with us, you can request a travel health appointment via our online consultation form or by calling the surgery on 0208 459 5550. Please let us know your destination(s) and travel dates so we can advise you on timing.
Not yet registered with us? Travel vaccination services are available to patients registered with Willesden Medical Centre. If you live or work in Willesden, NW10, you can register online in under 5 minutes.
