We are a training practice. Registrars are qualified doctors who have to do three years' extra training to become a general practitioner. Two years are spent in hospital and the third year in a practice. Registrars have full responsibility and will be placed on the rota; they work closely with one of the other doctors.
Students are not qualified doctors. They work with the practice as part of their training to become doctors. If you do not wish a student to be present you are at liberty to refuse.
